Well I like it! But it's my name so I'm biased :)
I prefer the spelling Isabel, the "o" just looks weird to me, but again that's probably because it's my name.
It seems a pretty straight forward name, but I've been called Isabella (which I detest!) and even Elizabeth before by people! How they mix up Isabel with Elizabeth is beyond me! And I'm always asked how to spell it, which is annoying. My nicknames were Bel and Izzy.
I don't like the combo Isabel Mabel - the sounds are too repetitive. Isobel Lucy is nice enough, and the names go together. Maybe a middle name ending in "a" would go nicely as well :)
