India Rose
Replies
I know an India-Rose with a sister called Brontë-Mae.
India leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and India Rose sounds like an object, same as India ink or Brazil nut.
Other mn options:
India Kate
India Mary
India Eloise
India Arden
India Elinor
India Audrey
India Margaret
India Zoe
India Anastasia
India Alice
India Rachel
India Arielle
I think India is best hidden in the middle or kept as a GP, though.

Although, I think it is a really pleasing combo, I feel like it sounds like an interesting Crayola shade.
India has a gorgeous sound and I really do like it, but I don't know if I'd use it. I feel like it would put my daughter in awkward situations a lot. "Have you ever been to India? Are your parents Indian?" It's not just using a name that comes from India, it is straight up putting a place name on the child.
May I suggest Indira? Still potentially problematic if you are not Indian, but it is stunningly beautiful.

IT's pretty but it's also very stagey. Like a Hollywood baby name, and it also manages to sound like a scented bubble bath.
I really dislike India as a name. India is the name given to the country by the British imperialists. So it screams of colonialism, exploitation and oppression with a side of cultural appropriation to me.
I love the name Indira, and Indira Rose is much less expected than India Rose (snore). I have Indira Rosalind on my own list.
Some Indira combos:
Indira Alice
Indira Clemency
Indira Hazel
Indira Jane
Indira Josephine
Indira Lucy
Indira Madeline
Indira Rachel
Indira Sophie
Indira Verity
Indira Violet

Well yes, but using a name that is from the culture seems at least a little more respectful.
I would personally only use it because my in-laws liked Indira Ghandhi, since she's a fairly polarizing figure in the Indian community.

India Rose is super over done here in Australia. I'm pretty sure every kid named Indi/e or India that I know has the middle name Rose.
It's a bit trashy here. I can't say I like India.
If I was going to use it i'd pair it with something really feminine and pretty.
India Frances
India Beatrice
India Evelyn
India Ruth
India Celeste
India Marigold
India Harriet
India Amelia
India Constance

India Rose immediately brings to mind one of Chris Hemsworth's children -- his daughter, India Rose Hemsworth.
To be honest, it is a very unsurprising and predictable pairing. I like the name India (especially with the nickname Indy), but Rose has been growing less and less desirable to me. Having said that, it isn't an unbearable combination... there is a certain appeal in the mingling of letters between them. The two names look decent together.

It's a tad predictable yet it's cute as a button. India is nice without being done to death.
It sounds like a brand or air freshener.
