Re: Aleida & Jules
in reply to a message by whim
I like Aleida, although I probably wouldn't use it as a first name due to its confusing prounciation- and spelling.
Jules... well, I like its look, but I know the pronunciation will cause trouble. I don't think it's a good choice when you live in a Non-French speaking environment. And if it is meant to be the diminutive of Julian or so, please don't make it a real name.
Apart from that, I don't think that the two names go together very well. Yes, they look kind of cute together, but they have a very different background.
This makes it also very hard to find a good and matching name for a third child.
What about Aleida, Jules and Felix/Hugo/Leopold/Sander/Theo or Carla/Cilla/Rosa/Tessa/Xandra?
Of the girl combos below I think Aleida Beatrix would make the most sense. I don't really like Beatrix though. Aleida Mae is nice, too.
Out of the boy combos I prefer Jules Oliver as well as Jules August!
