Brielle wouldn't have been a bad choice, and if they liked it so much they should have just gone with it (though not Brielly. that's no good.)
I don't see what's horrible about Madelyn Skyler, though. It's trendier than my style, but it's not awful. What is awful is that Brielly has NOTHING to do with her ACTUAL name. I hate it when people do that.

Awful. I think celebrities think because they're famous, it doesn't matter what they call their kids. No one will tease them because their parents are famous.

I have a friend whose name is made of her parents' names. And yes she had to explain it on a regular basis.
If it's just a nn it's not such a big deal. She can ditch it when she's older if she doesn't like it.

Madelyn is perfectly fine. Why call your kid Brielly when you named her a perfectly fine sounding name? Brielly is not even a nickname for Madelyn.
