Felicitas Woll's girl is called Taisha Valentina, not Violetta.

I love/likeLeo
James Michael
Mya Rose
Alice Ann
Hugo
Arthur Elwen
Luca Daniel
Mona
Eros
Jack Daniel (even though it makes me think of whiskey brand)
Elena
Michael
Thalia
James Colm...And I can't possibly understand what on earth had possessed the celeb parents of these poor children when they gave their babies their first childhood traumas by naming them...Sawuyer Rae (Rae is beautiful, but the spelling of the first name is retarded, not that it was a good name to begin with)
Jasmijn
Sarah Aleece (Sarah is nice, but Aleece... come on!)
True Harlow The rest are nms, but I can tolerate them.

The ones that caught my eye ...Alice Ann - I think Alice is sweet, but the combo as a whole is so ... no-nonsense. A little flair wouldn't hurt. And I loathe the spelling Ann. I was converted by A of Green Gable's theory at about age 10 :-)Arthur Elwen - I think Arthur is nice, in an unobtrusive sort of way. Elwen is awful ... Isn't it from Lord of the Rings? How dorky and unfortunate to bear. I see LotR names in the same vein as Anakin or any Trekky name ... Bad. Thank heavens it's a middle name.Elena - Nice pronounced eh-LAYN-uh, but Helena still has more character.Jack Daniel - Yikes! I already know a little boy with this combo, and everyone joked about it. Besides the whisky thing, both names are plain boring, especially Jack.Mona - Too similar to "moan". In fact, I typoed it as "moan" just there, and had to correct it. Besides, I think the Mona Lisa is an unattractive painting, and it reminds me of that too.Mya Rose - Very flimsy, but pretty.Thalia - This has grown on me. I used to struggle with the "Thal" sound ... Somehow it felt wrong, as if the "h" should be silent. But now I like. It's different but unpretentious.Violetta - gorgeous! I think this might catch on for English-speakers, Anglicised as "vye-uh-LETT-uh", if we get sick of Violet. (That'll take decades though ... Violet is only beginning to catch on now.)

Who on earth are these people? Joely Fisher is the only one I've ever heard of??Sigi - ok
True Harlow - I think "true harlot."
Leo - love
Sarah Aleece - Sarah is nice. Aleece is a bit too phonetic for me. Elise is so much prettier.
Maggie Rose - prefer Maggie as a nn. So sick of Rose.
James Michael - huge blah
Mya Rose - prefer Maya to Mya. Hate Rose.
Cody - Yuck
Alice Ann - Love Alice, Ann doesn't nothing for this combo though.
Hugo - Ok
Arthur Elwen - Love
Violetta - Nice, but prefer the simplicity of Violet.
Luca Daniel - Nice
Mona - Don't like the sound.
Eros - Too much.
Jack Daniel - Either these parents don't drink at all, or they drink way too much. Like your whiskey much?
Vaughn Wyatt - Nms but nice.
Elena - Nice
Sawuyer Rae - Hideous.
Loy Ann - Weird.
Jasmijn - Dutch? I do like Jasmine. I hate Jazmin. It depends on if this creative or not.
Michael - Big yawn.
Nomi - Ok
Thalia - Nice
James Colm - Nice

Jasmijn is Dutch, not creativeCompare it to her dad's name: Martijn -> Martin, Jasmijn -> Jasmine
To my sweet muse
Every time you rip my heart out
Every time you break it
I pick up the pen I hold in my hands
And write the most beautiful poems
But you know what
If it's alright by you
I'd rather be happy than a poet

Is it pronounced with an English "y" sound in Dutch? Like Yasmin? And is it common in the Netherlands? Just interested :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor

Jasmijn is not uncommon, I've known some girls named Jasmijn. It's pronounced like this: yahs-MIEN (the ij is always pron. as IE, the J as Y)
