I would think it was about as eccentric as Athena or Apollo or Artemis, almost as eccentric as Jupiter. No big deal, not pretentious or hipster, maybe kind of nerdier than thou. The only thing that makes it seem bad is that it's kind of a cliche dog name. But I think everyone knows it's a Greek god.
