It would be better as Reagan if you were going to use it for a boy. I'd rather see it on a boy. I'm not sure how it got started as a girls name but I really wish it hadn't. It's awful for a girl.

The Rae really makes me thing girl as that is a very common middle name where I am from as an alternative to Ray for a boy. I don't really like it. It's too last namey and I've seen it on enough girls for it to feel girly to me. I think if you were to go for that sound Reagan is a more appealing visual as far as masculinity is concerned.

Probably because the only Reagans I've known were girls, this name feels very feminine to me. I'm not sure I could picture it on a boy.
