I like it, but I too have not heard it used on babies recently. It does make me think of Kylie Minogue, but that doesn't really bother me.

I've always liked the name Kylie. I prefer Kyla though.

In the U.S., the name isn't as heavily connected with Kylie Minogue. We know who she is, but I don't think she's quite as famous over here. But that's just my opinion. :b I see it as a very trendy 1990s cutesy name and I dislike it. :( At the hospital where I work, I've seen two born in the last year but they were spelled Kylee. Which is even worse imo. :-/~Heather~

I don't think of Kylie Minogue, she's not that popular or great to stand out in my mind, I think she's more popular where you are at.
