I really like Katrina. If I were in Idaho or Vermont, I might feel like it's usable. Unfortunately, I'm in South Texas, and I personally know too many people who are here now because of Katrina. It feels insensitive, so it's not usable for me. Myra is okay, though I find it a bit harsh and old, and Lynn....well, what can you say about Lynn? A century of overuse as a filler middle name has drained it of most of its personality. As a first name, it would be interesting only because it would be unexpected.
