I don't like it, as it has a very redneck or southern hick vibe to me. Its in there with Jolene. Its unfortunate because a beloved grandmother had the middle name Darlene so I feel I should like it, I just can't. I don't really like its nicknames, either (Dar, Dara, Darla, etc).
