I really like Caius. I'm a fan of Kai names (Cairo, Kairi etc) and I often enjoy -us at the end of a name, like Thomas and Taeus. Plus Caius has that cool, ancient feel to it too. =)

It seems cool ... I like Roman names ... however the pronunciation sort of bothers me. I want to say KY-oos. Too Roman. I guess it's okay pronounced Kyus but that sound doesn't really live up to the coolness of the spelling. It seems to get lost in all the other ky-names. So I like Kai by itself more than Caius.

I like it. Its sharp at the beginning, gentle at the end. It has a historic appeal and is also uncommon. I also love the nickname Cai.

I think it's nice enough. It's not one of my faves, but I don't see anything wrong with it. It sounds very Roman and brings to mind Caius Cosades, a character I know from 'The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind'. Also somewhat less directly reminds me of Gaius, Court Physician of Camelot in the bbc 'Merlin' series.

I like its solemn charm. Gaius also appeals to me.
