What would you name girl/girl twins?
I would name them Charlotte and Caroline, because they're both feminine forms of Charles.

Melody Emilia and Bodhi LouisaFor today, at least. I like that they represent important parts in my life (Melody in music and Bodhi meaning "awake" in the Buddhist tradition). They're a little unusual but not unheard of. I also enjoy the flow of "Melody Emilia" and the spunk of "Bodhi Louisa", plus around the house I think "Bodhi Lou" would be a cute nn. Thanks for the question. :)

Laura Gillian and Tessa Juliet, with the twinnishness confined to the mns.Or Alice and Celia, anagrammatically.Or Helen and Lucy, for the meanings.

I always wanted to use anagrams for twins! It's incredibly cool to me.

I love Xanthe

Lovely!

I like Calliope.

I would name twin daughters Ena and Alba. No rhyme or reason other than I enjoy both names individually.Ena would be Ena Harriet for sure and Alba would maybe be Alba Felicity. Alba is just a really hard name to combo.

I think Carly and Danielle would be good twin names.

Sinead Lynn and Tempest Josephine. Sinead, I believe, is an Irish form of Jennifer (Jennifer was my aunt's name and I'm part Irish). Lynn is my middle name, my mother's middle name, and her mother's first name. Tempest is after the Shakespearean play. Josephine is after my father, Joseph.

girl/girl twins - Delphine & LakméDelphine & Lakmé: The Lakmé name (I believe at least) is Brahmin with a "French Twist". (Lakmé is the name of a tragic Heroine in an Opera of the same name written by Léo Delibes).

Today they'd be Annabel Frances and Clara Juliet.

Middle names are undecided as that isn't crucial for right nowElowen & Lydia. Nickname "Ellie and Lydie" :D both feminine, strong, soft, classic, underused and contain the same amount of syllables. They just fit so well with each other. Also, they age well. I hope one day twin girls come my way. I would be ecstaticCharlotte and Caroline are great names. I just personally have this small pet peeve of sibling names starting with the same letter. Especially if its done on purpose.

Lauren Elizabeth & Sophie JaneElizabeth & Jane are honoring.

Sylvia Bridget and Miriam Johanna

Claire and Hope, that way they both have a short non-nickname-able name, so one of them wouldn't be all the odd one out since our existing kids have longer formal names with short nicknames.

Today (and probably today only) I'd dub my imaginary darlings Lilias Heidi and Bertille Noelene.

If they were my daughters irl, I'd name them Eowyn Grace and Arwen Joy.If we're talking more hypothetical, I guess I could do something like Heather and Jasmine, Willow and Rowan, Rue and Wren, Catherine and Elizabeth. In an entirely fictional setting, I might do something like Azura and Aurora, Ariana and Minerva, Prudence and Patience, Antigone and Cassiopeia, Felicity and Clarity, Stella and Starla (or Sharla and Starla) Annabelle and Annemarie, Helena and Hannah.

I would love to meet girls named Eowyn and Arwen! Ariana and Minerva could work in real life as well as in fiction. There are plenty of girls named Ariana already, and Minerva is a traditional name due for a revival.
vote up1
Good point about Ariana and Minerva. But if I were naming actual children irl, I don't think I could use Minerva as a first name. I do love it, but I prefer it as a middle name, I guess.Anyway, they could goy by Ari and Minie or Anna and Vera or something. Maybe Ana / Ari and Min.
vote up1
Ari and Mina/Minna are cute nick names. Athena seems to be gaining popularity as a middle name, and as the Roman equivalent, Minerva could definitely work similarly.
