I would like to do my own taste experiment, like the other post below. Choose your three favorites and your three least favorites for each gender from the given lists.

Favorites: Amy, Isabel, Katherine. If the spelling Eleanor was an option it would be one of my top favorites. This was a tough decision since you have a lot of classic names that I like.
Least Favorites: Sibyl, Judith, Agnes
Favorites: Robin, Peter, Alistair
Least favorites: Linus, Rufus, Oliver

Humphrey Bogart's "Linus" in the original Sabrina left quite an impression on me; yet without seeing his portrayal of this character, I more likely would have chosen this name as a least favorite. That said - I am somewhat "against" associating names with movie/media stars and the various personas. I like to leave that to literature and stage drama.

I also have an irrational hatred of Amy, but Katherine trumps it, and I don't like Joyce, but it's a family name. I don't think Joan or Judith look nice, that's all. Anne might make the list because it's so plain, but I think it's a bit of a palate-cleanser. Agnes, I'm on the fence about - it's ugly, but it's kinda cool-ugly.
