I think it's a nice name. It has a classic and literary feel to it. I very strongly associate it with Alice from the 'Alice in Wonderland' book and various adaptations. I think of a very curious and brave girl with a boundless imagination. It does feel like a very "young" name; I'm having trouble picturing it on anyone older than about 20. I think I've only met one Alice, but she was nice. The mean kids would scream, "Alice the Camel had ten humps!" at her, because kids can be awful when they think they're being clever. :/
