Nicholas is really close to my hometown's name, and it's even been called Nicholas by new local reporters. It's annoying- the misreading, not the name. I like the name.
Perry is fine, too. Not my style, but there was a Perry the year behind me in high school, and there was another in town who was pretty well respected.
Rutherford- my grandma had an uncle named Rutherford, who was from Canada. His nn was Rud. I'm not a fan of the name. I don't know what it is about it.
