Standing up for Trixie. Absolutely LOVE it! :)

I absolutely love Trixie, probably because I adore vintage nicknames (as full names) and I associate Trixie with a character I really love (actually Beatrix but almost exclusively Trixie). I think because of that, I feel like Trixie is a feisty, energetic name, that could work on a woman of any age, and isn't overly juvenile or, as most seem to consider it to be, a 'stripper' and/or pet name. I have it on my list as a full name, because I think it can work, and it's actually quite popular where I live (England). But, although I'm not the biggest fan of nicknames, I do like the idea of Beatrix nn Trixie too. Basically I love Trixie, even though, sadly, it seems to bring up a lot of negative connotations and dislike from quite a lot of people.

Quite possible because of the built in sounds of "tricks" into the name, it is a joke name for strippers and prostitutes where I live.
Not fair, but true.
I could get behind it as a nickname, just in case it caused problems in life.
