Kate quickly comes to mind. Lots of names started as nicknames, I guess- like Bethan. Originally a Welsh diminutive of Elizabeth, but I know more Bethans than I can count. I know a Rosie, full name, and it suits her well. Harry comes to mind.Charlie. Charles I really don't like, I find it pretentious, somehow. Sounds... stuffy. I played with Charlot, but... I find it happens more often the other way round. Like, Madeleine. I like Lina, but people would so easily jump to Maddy.
