Re: Penelope
Haha. Well, I do like the name itself. It's quirky and unexpected. I was honestly surprised when it jumped in popularity.I am biased on this name, since it belongs to my niece, who DOES go by Penny. My sister has planned on using this name since we were 7 years old or something. She was ecstatic when her husband agreed to it, and a year later it boomed. None of us liked the nickname Penny and she planned to use Penna. I also know a couple of other Penelope girls who go by either Nell or Nellie. However, my niece herself prefers Penny, she was adamant about it as soon as she could verbalize. So, Penny it is! And, what a cute name I (now) think it is. :)______________________________________________
