I'm not even going to...I'll make this brief as I can since I can go on a big time about clear masculine names on girls. I personally find the trend harsh and unflattering. Almost as though the boys names are being stolen left and right and none of the girls names are good enough.

Clark seems very butch to me.
I guess I could picture Clarke as a woman's name, but if it were trendy it would be especially unappealing. One of those names that will seem mannish about 25 years post-fad.

I doubt it would be the "next" unisex name. There are so many unisex names and I don't think many parents would find it particularly appealing for a girl.

I'm not a fan of it on a girl. I got so excited when I saw this post because I LOVE Clark on a boy.

I'm watching "the 100" at the moment where the main female lead is called Clarke; and although she's a great character and I love the show, I'm never going to like her name (on her, being female and all).

Clarke definitely has the potential to be the next unisex name... But as to whether it should is another matter entirely.

I really hope not, since I love it for a boy. But strangely, yes, I could see people using it for a girl.

I actually know a girl named Clarke, I think after a family surname. Her mom's friend always calls her "Clarky." I just don't think it works for her, nor would it work on any other girl. I could see it as a middle name for a girl, but only if it was used for honoring purposes.

I love Clark as a name for boys. But I saw it on a show called The 100 for the main character, Clarke, a girl. I think Clarke is more feminine than Clark, but I definitely prefer both on boys.

Really? Huh, Clark doesn't seem unisex to me at all. Truthfully, I guess it's been pretty out of circulation, so it's not all that impossible to imagine it on a girl, since it's not like I know any male Clarks of any age. Hm... go figure.
