I don't like the -b ending. I have a similar problem with Caleb, and with Zaynab too. It's just ugly to me.
I'm OK with the nickname Jake and I like it more than Jacob. It's kind of like Jack, seems sporty and bright, but Jake is a little more aggressive seeming.

We have one of those "Roomba" vacuum-cleaners, that run around by themselves. My husband named it Zaynab.
