Morgana
Back to my name of the day thing. What do you think of Morgana? I actually like Morgan for a girl better, but Morgana is nice and rich and dark. Opinions?

It's okay, but I like it much better than Morgan.

Yay!
Morgana has been my favorite feminine name for a while now. I know many prefer Morgan for a girl - and I know it's a unisex name - but I've only ever known male Morgans, so for me Morgan is masculine.
I love Morgana's dark, magical qualities. Even if it weren't for Arthurian legend I would probably still think of the High Middle Ages when hearing this name, and I'm a medieval history buff. But I also know this name is suitable for contemporary times because I actually knew a Morgana in college, and she was really nice.
Finding a middle name I liked for Morgana took a long time, but I think I've settled on Morgana Genevieve.

I like it.
I like it but at least in an English speaking context Morgan might work better.
I really, really like Morgana. It sounds so dark and wonderful and I love the ties to legend/fairy tale. I've never liked Morgan for any gender. I would never use Morgana, but I seriously appreciate it as a name. Morgane is cool too.
My friend Skye just gave birth to one of these on the 28th! They called her Morgana Nicole. I like the combo all right (Nicole is honouring). I far prefer Morgana over Morgan - it's much more interesting. "Rich and dark" is a great way of describing it. It's an enchantress name for sure.
When I told my mom about Skye's Morgana, though, she immediately started singing a pretty gross song called "Morgana Jones". Hopefully few people will do the same to little Morgana as she's growing up. My mom's great for having a mental inventory of inappropriate songs for any occasion.

Haha, your mom sounds fun. x]
I think Morgana is lovely - very whimsical and appealing.
I absolutely love, love, love Morgana! I really love the dark, stormy, mysterious imagery I get from it, and I like the link to Arthurian legend, which is probably where I get the imagery from. Plus, to me, it sounds beautiful, yet is very underused, and not popular at all, which makes me love it even more. I love Morgana for a girl, as an alternative to Morgan, which I prefer on a boy.
In theory, I love Morgana and it's been a favourite for a long time.
I do think it might be a little awkward to say in real life; I feel like that with a lot of 'ahn' names.
Having said that, I wouldn't necessarilly rule it out. I'v been saying it out loud to myself and can imagine calling someone. :)
I definitely prefer Morgana, but I do like Morgan. I also like Morrigan, although I think that name is unrelated they're all linked in my head.
Just thought of the combo
