I think it's usable enough. Of course it's quite over the top and frilly, but so what? I like those types of names sometimes. I think Artemisia is beautiful. I've always liked the idea of Artie as a nickname for a girl, which in this case would be the perfect balance- the very girly Artemisia and the more tomboyish Artie means it can fit anyone.
