I've got an Elizabeth friend who became Lilli as a baby because it was the best her slightly elder siblings could do with such a long and complicated name.
Elle is silly, like Dee and Kay. And then there's the magazine, so no.
If I'd been an Elizabeth, I'd have gone really retro: Bethan or Betsan or Betsy.
