It's because of the word, I think - its connotations (it slightly connotes melodrama, or tiresome length of a story), and the similar sound/look to sag and soggy. As a name for a Scandinavian person, it would be nice, but to me (US) it's not very appealing as a name for a baby girl.- mirfak
