I live in England, and always thought Dahlia was Dah-lee-uh, then it turns out my own mother says Day-lee-uh (because of the flower apparently) lol. But I have a cousin Dahlia, whose name is said the way you want, so I'd just stick with Dahlia. Dalia I'd be less inclined to say Dah-Lee-uh, and more likely Dal-ee-uh or even Day-lee-uh.
