I love it. It is nice to have a less popular El- name. I like it's Scottish roots, and I think it is fun to say. I sometimes like hard consonants, though.

It's an awkward alternative to Elizabeth. I've seen worse, but why use Elspeth when evocative Elizabeth exists?

I love it, everyone else says it sounds like a lisp. It didn't used to get much love here, but apparently the vibe has changed because now everyone that posted says they like it.

It's quite good, but I'd always use Elizabeth first,rather than Elspeth.

I love Elspeth. It's so light and ethereal. It has such a quiet beauty to it. My favorite combo for it is Elspeth Gwyneira.

I think it's very sweet, yet not frilly. It's one of the few names that are mostly pink to me, and it has a very upbeat and cool/fresh sort of feeling that I like.

Love it. It's on my list (: I think it's so beautiful, all ethereal and silvery.

I like it. I've never actually met anyone named Elspeth, so maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like it would get misunderstood as Elizabeth a lot. Which doesn't make it unusable, but might be something to think about. But I do think it's very sweet.

I like it. It's unusual but familiar (to most people in the UK, anyway), it's cheerful-sounding, it's fairly classic and it's got easy nn options if you want them.

I really like it. It is both spunky and classic. I also like the way it sounds.

My cousin was briefly engaged to a woman named Elspeth - her middle name was Prairie.

I love Elspeth. I think it's a lovely classic that is used less frequently than it deserves. It has great imagery for me.

I like Elspeth, it is a great variation of Elizabeth, and it sounds very nice.

I like it very much - it has a cheerful energy about it.

I love Elspeth! I really like that it's got a soft, gentle sound, but still has substance, and a feisty, plucky quality to it. Elspeth's definitely one of my favourite Elizabeth variations (way less popular too).
