Felicity!
Hi, everyone.A miracle happened today. DH, who usually detests talking names with me, brought up the name Felicity. I'm kind of amazed and not too sure what I think of it yet (I think I'm still in shock, haha), but I wanted to ask you guys for opinions. We just started TTC, so I'm going crazy trying to compile a list of names for us. Anyways, what do you think of the name Felicity? Do you have any middle name suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I really like Felicity a lot. Since I also like Joy and have used Beatrice, I'd never actually use it, but I'd like to see more Felicity people. Especially young ones. The nn situation is complicated, but I've seen and liked Lissy, not minded Fee much, and heartily disliked Felix, but perhaps that was partly personal.Felicity is light and airy and fresh as a spring breeze. So mns can be tougher and probably also shorter. Anything here that you could live with?Felicity Anita
Felicity Brenda
Felicity Carla
Felicity Doreen
Felicity Elspeth
Felicity Greta
Felicity Harriet, long but good
Felicity Isla
Felicity Joan
Felicity Karen
Felicity Laura
Felicity Margot
Felicity Nerine
Felicity Olwen
Felicity Paula
Felicity Ruth
Felicity Sharlene
Felicity Tamsin
Felicity Valda
Felicity Winona

Felicity Isla is gorgeous! I also like Felicity Ruth and Felicity Elspeth. I agree that nn's are difficult, but I could see us using Fia or Eli.

Love it when the SOs have input!!To be honest, I am not crazy about Felicity. I happen to like Felicia better, but that is my sister's name so I admit to bias. My favorite variation is Felice though (feh-leese), kind've like the Spanish "feliz". A lot of people think it is masculine... but that is really only the Italian feh-lee-cheh that is male. I also debated using Felina myself, to honor my sister... but it may be too cat-ish. In any case, Felicity is a strong name but not my favorite. I do really like it in the middle name spot though, with a shorter first name. Something like Felicity Hazel, Felicity Renee, Felicity Maris or Felicity Laure would be lovely... but so would Hannah Felicity, Cadence Felicity, Zinnia Felicity, Eden Felicity or Shannon Felicity. I think two syllable pairings match it well.

Thanks for your opinion! I agree that Felicity makes a good middle name, and I actually think I might like it more there. I like Hannah Felicity and Eden Felicity from your suggestions. Love Shannon, too, but prefer it on a boy actually :)

Felicity is really growing on me. I like it heaps better than Felicia.Combos:Felicity Brooke
Felicity Catherine
Felicity Claire
Felicity Helena
Felicity Jane
Felicity Joy
Felicity Madeleine
Felicity Mae
Felicity Margaret
Felicity Marigold
Felicity RachelWow, that was more difficult than I'd thought because Felicity has four syllables. Ideally, a short mn would be ideal, imo, without having to resort to Anne, Grace or Rose. I think Felicity Jane has a solid feel to it. Jane grounds Felicity nicely.

I like it much better than Felicia, too, though Felicia would probably be better overall (I'm kind of worried that my Spanish relatives will butcher Felicity). I agree with the short middle name, and I really like Felicity Mae, Felicity Jane, and Felicity Claire. Funny you mentioned Anne and Rose; I have both of them on my list (as first names). Maybe ____ Felicity could work, too!

Ooh, Anne Felicity and Rose Felicity both would be lovely. I especially like Anne Felicity.

They're both lovely! I'm actually surprised at how much I like both of these combos. Writing them up on my list!
