Yeah, it's not bad. The Ed- part makes it firstnamey enough, and it does sort of make me think "inventive." lol. I can picture my son calling a friend Edison and it seeming natural. Only problem I can think of is, it sounds like Addison, which is now a girl name apparently ... depends where you live though.- mirfak

We're in the UK so Addison isn't a very common name here (I've never met one or heard the name mentioned) so I doubt Addison would be an issue for us :)
