I agree with just about everything you said except that I'd be more likely to pair Rose with Anastasia or something along those lines. It's nice to see it used as a fn. There's an actress who recently named her dd Rose and I'm hoping she'll inspire others to consider Rose for the fn name position rather than relegating it to the middle.
