I like it. It's a dainty name in looks and style, yet the sound is spritely. I am a huge fan of Viv-names so this just works for me. However, I would consider it a very bold choice since it is one of those over-the-top French variations (liek Minette).I find it usable though.

Very pretty. I think I still prefer Vivien, but if you want something a little frillier, Viviette fits the bill. The crispness of the first syllable keeps it from being too terribly saccharine.

Thank you-my other daughter's name is frilly, I guess its my style. We like Vivienne but its getting very popular. We chose a popular name for my son, unknowingly, so we are more aware now! I like Juliette but also popular. Thanks for your opinion!

I initially thought it was Vivette, rather than Viviette, which I think sounds better.I'm not generally a fan of anything ending in '-ette' or '-etta' (too frilly). As a diminutive for Vivien / Vivian I think it's better.

I don't particularly care for it.

Names that end in an ETTE are nms. They sound vaguely apologetic, too diminutive. If it were like Juliet and Harriet - Viviet, emphasis on the VIV - I would think it was an interesting spin on Vivian, kinda likeable.

It sounds kind of fake, or like a French nickname for Vivienne. If anything, I think Vivienne is a lot better.
