Moon
What do you think of Moon? In a theoretical/gp sort of way at least. I'm starting to really like it especially as a middle name.

It's not something I could ever pull off, but I admire anyone who has the guts to give this name to their kid. It's almost challenging you, in a way. It isn't pretty and it lends itself to a lot of lame jokes, but it's THERE, and you can't ignore it.
I honestly dislike it. I think Luna is better (even though I don't care much for it either).
I like it as a middle name. As silly as it is, my first thought isn't of the moon but of moonstones, a lovely stone.
It looks very silly, sorry. And I can't help but thinking of "mooning around", or "mooning someone" as in showing them your butt, etc.
I like most names that mean moon (Buwan is on my list), and I can see someone who likes nature names simply using Moon.
I think it works. I have known a couple of people with Moon as a middle name, so it's been done. Even famously, as in Soleil Moon Frye.

My daughter's class watched the movie "Alabama Moon" the other day, after their teacher had read the book to them. (Valerie said she hated the book but everybody else seemed to love it.) The boy in the book is named Moon.
As a name, no. It just doesn't sound attractive as a name.

I like the movie Tell me that you love me, Junie Moon, so I guess it's an OK middle name. But as a first name, no. It sounds a bit silly. I prefer Luna.
It exists as a surname, so it'd work just fine as a mn. Not for daily use, though. Too close to mooning around, and the connotations of changeability aren't too nice either.
I actually like it as a middle name. As long as it isn't too "hippie" in combination with the first name. River Moon or something would be just horrible.
I guess its fine as a middle name :)
I think it makes an OK middle name. Less pretentious than Luna! I wouldn't mind having it as a middle name. But I wouldn't consider it as a first name.
I don't like it. It makes me think of the name River, trying to be deep but it sounds stupid.
