I don't really like Laurence on a boy, so it definitely doesn't fly with me as a girl's name, personally. I do think it's workable, though; it'd be super neat to meet a girl who's middle name is Laurence, probably honoring or something. Ooh, I'd actually really like that. I do think it sounds sophisticated in the middle spot. Amelia Laurence? Elizabeth Laurence? Octavia Laurence? Yes, it would make a regal middle name!
