Agatha?
What do you think of it? It is a bit clunky, but I think it's a part of it's charm. Plus, Aggie is a very cute nickname for it.
And also, what names would work as a middle for Agatha?
Poppy Celeste*Margot Cecilia*Audrey Elisabeth*Iris Margareta
James Henry*Isaiah Paul*Owen Nicholas*William August

I really like the name Agatha.
Agatha Carol.
Agatha Carol.
I like Agatha. It is clunky, but I like clunky sometimes. I wouldn't use the name myself, but that's mostly because I'm weird about the letter it starts with. I'm not keen on Aggie at all though.
I liked some of the suggestions I've seen others give--Agatha Louise (LOVE) and Agatha Olwen come to mind.
Other ideas:
Agatha Rose
Agatha Tamsin
Agatha Thomasine
Agatha Mary
Agatha Lark
Agatha Edith
Agatha Claire
Agatha Helene
Agatha Eloise

I like it, in theory. It has that old, vintage vibe. I should like it based on all the other names I like. However, and the same goes with Agnes, there is something about the Ag- that turns people off with names and puts them in categories with Hilda and Gertrude.
Agatha Harriet
Agatha Moriah
Agatha Hesper
Agatha Mabel
Agatha Prue
Agatha Phillipa
Agatha Rosamund

If clunky has charm for you, the Agatha is golden. :) Aggie is a pretty acceptable nickname, almost sweet.
Agatha Louise was the first thing I thought of, but that's pretty heavy.
Agatha Zoe would be awesomely full of zest!
Agatha Katrin
Agatha Penelope
Agatha Juniper
Agatha Indigo for the completely unexpected

I love it! There was a day I would've considered using it, but my husband dislikes both it and Agnes. I love the nn Aggie! Anyway, I don't find Agatha clunky at all and am always surprised to hear people think so--which seems to be a common opinion. I think it sounds very light and elegant!
I used to have some dang awesome combos with it, but they're lost forever. sniff sniff. Things like Agatha Olwen and Agatha Emily.

I never used to like the name Agatha until I saw "Nanny McPhee." The youngest child is Aggie, and her father calls her Agatha. It didn't hurt that the father was played by Colin Firth. Now I'm in love with the name Agatha / Aggie. "Clunky charm" is the perfectly expression for my attraction to the name. Heavy B and G sounds in names are attracting me more and more these days.
Agatha Christie was born Agatha Mary Clarissa, which is the only known instance of me liking Clarissa. :0)
