Ianthe and Vega
Simply, what do you think of each name? I'm especially liking Ianthe again right now.
Much obliged!

Thank you! :)
I really like Ianthe. Not so keen on Vega, but like the meaning. I think Vincent Vega puts me off it a bit.
Thanks! Not sure why I didn't make the Vincent Vega connection, but it doesn't much bother me anyway :)
Thank you so much! :)
They both have great meanings, are both usable and I like both of them in an abstract sense - but Vega sounds exactly like 'vaguer' in most UK accents, and I prefer modern Greek Ianthi (ee an thee) to the eye an thee pronunciation.
The vaguer thing doesn't bother me much -- I know plenty of guys named Will, and it's not much of an issue. Thanks :)
Ianthe would fall in my too-cool-to-use-category.
Vega is one of the most beautiful stars in the sky, but for some reason I don't find the name very beautiful. The "aig" sound is not great. I prefer Vera.
That being said, I would freak out with excitement were I to meet a person with either of those names!

I can't say I see any huge issue with any of those associations, haha.
Thanks!
Thanks!
My views exactly!
These would be cool sister names :)
Thanks! :)
