I think it's very pretty. It is definitely dated in the US, but still sounds youthful. I understand that in UK, Heather is very much a grandmother's name, which is funny. Heather and Jennifer were popular there a long time before they were here, but Jessica is now way more popular there, having already hit its peak twenty years ago in the US.I wouldn't mind using Heather, though there's lots of other names I'd choose first.
