Gleniss
One of my friends is named Gleniss. What do you all think?
For background, she is African-American. It's pronounced "glen-iss".

Glenys is very old-fashioned here and reminds me of nice old ladies in lavender cardigans, but I quite like it and wouldn't mind seeing it revived.
For some reason this looks masculine to me, and the two S ending makes me want to put heavy emphasis on the second syllable. Not a bad name sound wise though.
The spelling is a little weird to me, but the sound of it is fine.
I prefer Glynis
...which I have always thought was rather attractive.

It might be spelled that way. I cannot for the life of me remember how exactly it's spelled. I do know that there are two s's, though.
