It looks like said, only with a z. Is this how they spell the name of the one character in the Police Academy movies?

I'm not a huge lover of Z names in general. I don't love it, but it's not bad. I would assuming it to be pronounced zye-EED. But lots of people would say ZADE, so maybe it's that way? I do not like the latter at all.
