I think this depends highly on where you live, as the name just sounds different in an Italian accent.
I personally like the name, but I would likely spell it Edwarda or Eduarda since I live in an English-speaking area. It's not really a simply name like Paola, so I predict general confusion when they see the name at first.
Also - will you be pronoundicng Beatrice the Italian way as well? Just curious.
I actually prefer the simple Edda to the full name (which I realize is not the same name, but inspired by).
I do love the combo though.
