I assume Islamiya is derived from Islam (see Islambek), but her maiden name is totally English. From what I can find it's used in Russia, but also Arabic countries. Islamia is also used.

I did guess as much :) I'm more curious as to whether there was any particular reason for it being her name, I suppose.
