Malene and Seanán

What do you think of Malene and Seanán as a sibset? I know they are from different origins, but do you think they flow well?

Also, how would you pronounce Seanán? SHAY-nen? SHAN-awn? I'm not 100% sure, which is why I'm asking. With my American accent, I've been thinking SHAY-nen, please correct me.

Malene is pronounced ma-LE-neh (would sound like ma-LAY-neh in English).

I like Malene pronounced as maylene? If so perhaps spell it as mailene/Maelene etc

I know a Seanán who pronounces it 'shawn-un', like the name Sean + an. He lives in England but his parents are Irish.

I don't like them. Malene is pretty confusing as to how it's supposed to be pronounced. Mah-LEEN? MAY-Leen? Muh-LEEN? I'd much rather see it Marlene, which is really what it looks like, a typoed Marlene.
Seanan I just don't like the looks of. I think most Americans would think it was SEE-nan, but would also then associate it with Sean and wonder if it was really Shawn-an. Either way it's needlessly difficult and Sean would be a better choice.
