Re: Names I Hate

Margaret - Yeah, no. It's just so ugly and frumpy sounding.
Mallory - I used to like this name a loot when I was younger. Now I'm 'eh' about it. I don't hate it, but I certainly don't like it.
Edith - Okay, I love Edith. Mostly for the nickname Edie which is adorable to me. I'll never use it IRL but you better believe if I find a fitting character, they're gonna get named Edith!
Primrose - First time I've ever heard this was in Hunger Games, so it's in the weird, not usable category for me.
Abigail - I love Abigail, can't hate. Again, probably never use it, but I like.
Ashley - I know sooo many Ashley's and it's just dated to me.
Verity - My sister seriously considered this for my niece. She ended up with Madyson which I hate as well, but at least she's not Verity.
Avery - This is a boy's name to me. It's okay.
Ella - Not a real name to me. It's a nickname, which I think is overused anyways.
Brooklyn - Another could be nieces's name. Glad that sister had boys.
Bella - Again, this is a nickname/dog name.
Emerson - Boys name. Could not see this on a girl, but I like it on a boy.
Addison - Ugh, no.
Lola - Like Lola the Bunny? It reminds me of a stripper tbh.
Hope - Not my style at all. Nothing really wrong with it, I just don't like it.
Ireland - This is a place, not a child's name.
Esme - I don't know what it is about this name that I don't like either, but I don't.
London - See Ireland
Isla - See Esme
Blaise/Blaze - Blaise is okay. I don't like it but there's worse (I'm looking at you Jagger). Blaze is not okay. I know a girl named Blaisus, but it's pronounced Blaise, yeah, IDK either.
Cruz - Sounds like some super trendy celeb name that people start naming their kids.
Cullen - Reminds me of Twilight and it's not a first name.
Jagger - Nope. This is awful.
Brent - Makes me think of snobby rich white boy who sends stupid texts asking girls for nudes.
Wade - Old man name.
Wayne - Another old man name. I also watch SOA and the police guy is named Wayne and he's on my bad list after last season so I really don't like Wayne.
Channing - This doesn't even sound like a name. It sounds like a verb.
Tanner - Same as Channing/
Hunter - I actually like Hunter, but in a totally not usable name. I remember my friend's older sister had a boyfriend named Hunter who was so nice.
Kingston - Not a name to me.
Curtis - Just not my style
Atticus - I like Atticus, but again in a not usable way or strictly middle name.
Brock - See Brent.
Grady - Reminds me of grody
Cash - Nickname status, but IDK what you'd even use as a first name that I would like for this.
Ashton - See Brent.
Asher - Is okay, would make a decent character name.
Chance - Gets the same treatment as Cruz.
Braxton - I hate those trendy girls names but I think hate trendy boy names the most. Braxton, Chance, Cruz, Jace, Jayden, Ayden, etc.
Tucker - Eh.
Malachi - It could be worst, you could be named Chance, or Braxton.
Ezra - I like Ezra. Never use it, but I'd like it on someone elses kid.
Jace - No thank you.
