I agree. I abhor alliterative naming.
Now, if your favorite names are Samuel and Susannah, and they are brother and sister, that is one thing. Do it.
But if you have Samuel and Susannah, and then want to have a Benjamin, but don't name him what you want because you already have two S's, settling for Stephen, then I don't really think you're cool.
Having each child with their own different first letter is much cooler.
