I once knew a girl named Star. She's the only one, so my impression of the name is her. She was a capable, business-like girl, lived on a farm and could boss cows around and milk them, and ride a horse.
Her mother was the kind of person, perhaps, who would name a child Star,sort of a child-like person.
I doubt if I'd use the name, but it's a nice nature-y one.
