Oberon (m)
For the last couple of days this name has been on my mind a lot as a name for a medium sized dog. If I had a pair now (not likely) I'd call them Oberon and Whelan. Oppinions? (esp. on Whelan, I know it means little wolf in Irish and is a pretty common surname, but I don't know if it would be appropriate in this case)

Oberon is a perfect dog name! Is Whelan said like WAY-lan or WELL-in?
I can't hope to get the Irish prn. right (something like Wey-LAWN) but it's common to say WEE-lan.
