Esme Gwen ... those two short E sounds bother me a bit but not too much. Esme is great, and a family name, and though I'm not fond of Gwen it's OK as a mn.
I deplore Martha and much prefer Tessa to Tess. Tessa Maritha or Maretha rhymes but could work.
Molly Bess. Why not Mary Elizabeth, I wonder. Either way, I find Molly plump and dowdy but would use Polly in a heartbeat. I should like Bess I suppose - Good Queen Bess, and one of my mother's friends used to call her Bess instead of any of the nns for Beatrice - but I don't. Better than Bessy but not good enough. Polly Betsan would be my preferred tweak du jour.

Gorgeous! I love Molly, Martha and Esme for sisters!

Esme Gwen sounds terrible for some reason. Like drowning in the bathtub. Molly Bess and Martha Tess sound more like twins than Martha and Esme do.
Frankly they're all pretty ugly names. Molly is kind of cute, but cute the way a floppy-eared rabbit is cute.

I like the twins' names a lot, and I like Molly. Not a fan of Bess, though.

Martha Tess and Molly Bess, sort of like child's rhyme, maybe something you skip to. Had Molly been one of the twins, that would have been unfortunate. But she's not, so, good. Martha and Esme, names to grow into, and they won't be babies forever. Congratulations to your friend, it's always good to hear of twins.I wish them good health.

Thank you, they came early, which is common with twins. They're all home now and seem to be in good health.

I'm glad they are coming along well!

Pretty balancedbut I don't like the fact that the older sisters middle name rhymes with Martha's
