Nessa
What do you think of Nessa? I stumbled upon it the other day and I really like the meaning (Hebrew: miracle), but it feels incomplete to me. And I don't care for Vanessa.
So do you like it as a stand a lone or more of a nickname? What full name would you use if you went the nickname route? Any opinions of the name welcome!

I prefer Nessa as a nickname. It's very sweet.
I would use Vanessa.
Suggestions:
- Janessa but I don't think it's as nice as Vanessa
- Neasa which is Irish.

She's a hilarious character but has ruined the name for me.
also, Loch Ness monster

I love Nessa and Ness (and Nessie!) but don't care for Vanessa either. For fuller names I like Agnessa and Annabess (which I figure isn't too hard to pull "Ness" out of, even though I love "Annie" and "Bess" also). But I also think it could work fine on its own.

I'd imagine it was a form of Agnes - might that work for you?
