Esmeralda
I was watching the song Hellfire from the Disney Hunchback of Notre Dame (love that song!!!) That got me thinking of the main female character, and the subject of that song, Esmeralda. WDYTO the name Esmeralda?I personally really like it. It reminds me of emeralds, and those had a pretty gem-like vibe to it.

I think it is a beautiful name and it should be used more often, but I understand that people might avoid this name because of the Disney association.

I love your combos!!! But, my absolute favorite is the Esmeralda Clare one. For the meaning as well as how they flow well. Thanks! :)

I like it but it seems a bit...much for me to ever use personally.

Esmeralda is the name of my 14-year-old dog. It is an absolutely beguiling name, but I feel that it would only harmonize well with very few, particular individuals and very few personalities. Some names sound and appear "selective" to me, if that makes sense, and Esmeralda is one of them.

I think it's pretty but it's a bit too fantasy sounding for me to use in real life. I imagine Esmeralda as an old gypsy woman covered in jewels, so I just couldn't see myself using it on a child. I'd be very happy to meet a yojng Esmeralda, though. I really like Esme which is simpler and, I think, more useable.
