I can confuse you more! To me,
Kerry is pronounced kea-re (kear to rhyme with near and here).
Carrie is pronounced kah-re (first syllable sounds like car that your drive).

I love the name
Kerry, though. I've only known a boy called it, but I can see it would fit a girl too.
