Candace
Wdyt of Candace and occasional nickname "Candy"I've always liked Candace but detested Candy. Lately though I think it's sort of sweet and could totally see myself using it. I'll take any Candace combos too, if you're feeling up to it ;)_______________________________________

I like Candace just fine, though I prefer Cadence. It's brighter.I dislike Candy, even as a nickname. It's very fake-sweet to me, and I also cannot shake the stripper association. It's a name for a childish adult, not a nickname for a cute kid.

I always read it as Cadence the first (or first hundred) times I see it. I have no idea why. However as a name it's lovely. I can't much think of other nicknames. Cannie? XD...Maybe for an alternate nickname you could grab grab from the end of the name and call her Ace?

I have the same problem, and I don't even have dyslexia.

I really like it but I prefer the spelling Candice. Not sure why, I just do. It occurred to me one day that Candice is similar to my name, and that's when I realized I could never use it. But if it weren't for that, I'd consider it. And I like the nickname Candy a lot. The only Candice I've ever known (and it was spelled that way) was never called Candy, so I don't think it's inevitable.
