Celeb BA - Pemma!
Actor David Krumholtz and his wife had daughter Pemma Mae. I actually like Pemma! I'd never heard of it before but it's a cute alternate of Gemma or Emma. I never much liked Pamela or Pam, but Pem has such a different feel to it, that I like a lot.I added the name here: http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/pemma
My PNL = http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/37275Top: Henry & Lara (main) / Caspian & Briar (GP) / Leon & Georgiana (top25)

I know that Pema is a Tibetan name. He might have gotten the name from that name.

It does sound cute, but it's too cute I can't see something that sounds like a siblings mispronounciation aging well.

Pemma's not bad at all, and I agree--Pem is pretty cute. It has the same feel as Mims and Pip. They're Spunky Hobbit names.Mae was a poor choice, though. Too much M in too short a name.

failIt doesn't even have an attractive sound to me. And Pemma Mae is a mumbly mess.

I want to add one more syllable and say "pemmican." I don't love it but it's not bad. I think it's clumsy with Mae.

Pemma? Pemma? That is adorable!! I don't know that Pemma Mae was the best option for a combo, as it intensifies the cutesiness of Pemma, but Pemma is pretty cool. I would be even more amazing if Pemma was a nickname for something (since adorable gets less awesome when you're, say, 8 or 12 or 35).

I was trying to think of names Pemma could be a nn for, but was having some difficulty.Obviously there's Pamela, then I was thinking maybe like Palmira, Permelia, Philomela, Philomena, Polymnia, Pomponia, Primrose, and Primula.

haha, that's what I searched! I wasn't even sure it would work, so it was a nice surprise it did. Anyway, yeah I agree. I didn't like any of the 'full' names more than I like Pemma.
